Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is seeking one or more qualified design professional firms for an open-end requirements contract covering architectural, landscape architectural, and engineering services. Work will be assigned through individual work orders on an as-needed basis for State Park and State Forest facilities and infrastructure throughout Pennsylvania. Potential projects include new construction, renovations, alterations, additions, site and civil work, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, bridge, roadway, geotechnical, alternative-energy, and utility infrastructure projects. Services may include planning, programming, site visits, facility assessments, cost estimating, sustainable and energy design, permitting, conceptual and detailed design, construction documents, construction administration, inspections, and related technical support. Projects must emphasize environmentally sustainable design, energy and resource efficiency, climate resilience, and healthy indoor environments; some projects may require LEED, Green Globes, Passive House, or similar certification. Consultants must have appropriate professional registrations, Pennsylvania business authorization, qualified staff or subconsultants, quality-control procedures, LEED-certified designers, AutoCAD and Revit capabilities, and three-dimensional drawing capabilities. The contract has a 12-month base period with four possible 12-month extensions, and multiple firms may be selected.
