The University of Virginia is soliciting Letters of Interest, Statements of Qualifications, and supporting materials from highly qualified architectural and engineering firms for multiple term contracts. Services will support academic non-capital and capital new construction and renovation projects, with the possibility of work for health-system facilities. Potential service orders may include pre-design studies, project design, construction documentation, construction administration support, repair studies, and forensic studies. Each contract will run for one year or until the consultant reaches $2,000,000 in fees, whichever occurs first, with four additional one-year renewals at the University's option. The University does not guarantee that selected firms will receive service orders, and no initial service order is associated with this procurement. Work must comply with the latest University higher-education capital-outlay requirements, and selected firms must be able to respond quickly to projects with short-term deadlines.
