Description

The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide architectural, engineering, and interior design services for the renovation of three locker room suites totaling approximately 3,378 square feet at the West Sacramento Recreation Center. The work is planned across three fiscal-year phases: floor and wall finish replacement with associated plumbing fixtures, accessories, and lighting; ventilation improvements; and replacement of lockers and benches. The facility will remain open during construction, with no more than one locker room suite out of service at a time. The selected consultant will investigate existing conditions, prepare accessibility assessments and a basis-of-design memorandum, develop finish, ventilation, locker, bench, plumbing-fixture, and phasing alternatives, and produce coordinated 30%, 65%, and 95% design documents and final bid-ready plans, specifications, and estimates for each phase. The scope also includes three-dimensional renderings, permitting and Division of the State Architect support for Phase 1, bid-phase assistance, and designer construction support. Deliverables must be provided electronically in PDF and native formats, with two hard-copy sets of the final PS&E. The contract may have an initial term of up to three years, with two additional one-year extensions at the City's discretion.
