The City of Laredo is soliciting an annual contract for as-needed plumbing maintenance, standard repairs, emergency repairs, and special projects at four bridge system facilities. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, permits, and related services needed to maintain, repair, replace, and install plumbing systems. Emergency requests require response at the job site within one hour, while non-emergency requests require a response by phone within one business day and a subsequent scope, bill of materials, fixed price, and schedule for authorization. Pricing is requested for master plumbers, journeyman plumbers, and plumber's helpers during normal hours, after-hours/weekends, and city-observed holidays, along with a markup percentage for parts, materials, and supplies. The initial contract term is one year, with two additional one-year extension options by mutual consent. Required submission materials include the electronic bid response or hand-delivered bid, a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, copies of applicable Texas plumbing licenses and license numbers, and completion of the required electronic questionnaires and certifications. The solicitation requires insurance upon contract execution, including general liability, workers' compensation, automobile liability, and other specified coverage; these insurance documents are not required at bid submission based on the stated timing.
