Description
The City of Laredo is soliciting a contractor to provide annual maintenance for its water and sewer systems, including maintenance management, technicians, system integration, journeyman electricians, and professional engineering support. The scope includes industrial control systems and equipment such as variable-frequency drives, reduced-voltage motor starters, motor controls, valve actuators, analytical and process instrumentation, PLCs, PAC hardware and software, radios, belt press controls, and fiber-optic and CAT5/CAT6 communications. The contractor must also provide emergency response services and demonstrate extensive experience with the specified systems, at least three completed years of PPS control-system application experience, GE-IP Solution Provider status, multiple personnel trained in PPS, customer references, qualified personnel resumes, organizational information, applicable electrical licenses, and proof of liability insurance. A first point of contact must reside in Laredo, Texas, and subcontractors may not perform maintenance or repair work under the contract. Pricing is requested for annual water-system maintenance, annual sewer-system maintenance, emergency responses, and an estimated total contract price.
