Description
Laredo Transit Management is soliciting bids for an annual supply contract covering uniforms for operators, dispatchers, and supervisory personnel. The scope includes men's and women's polo shirts, shorts, tactical pants, trousers, short- and long-sleeve shirts, caps, soft-shell jackets, coach jackets or windbreakers, and high-visibility safety vests. Garments must meet the stated fabric, color, style, and sizing specifications, with approved-equivalent products permitted where specified. The vendor must embroider the El Metro logo on applicable shirts, polos, jackets, and caps; provide alterations for pants ordered by waist size; perform an on-site fitting for measurements after award; maintain a 20% inventory stock for 24-hour response to new hires; and deliver complete standard-size orders within 45 days after receipt of order. Quantities are estimates, the contract will be awarded by total to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, and the initial one-year term may be extended for two additional one-year periods by mutual agreement and subject to appropriations.
