Description
West Valley City Parks and Recreation is soliciting proposals to replace two existing hard courts at Woodledge Park. The redesigned facility will include a combination tennis/pickleball court and a full basketball/futsal court. The work includes demolition and disposal or overlay of existing court materials; evaluation and preparation of the base and subgrade; installation of post-tension court surfaces, perimeter walkways, color coating, striping, fencing, gates, nets, posts, basketball/futsal goals, and related hardware; ADA-compliant sidewalks, ramps, transitions, and court entries; protection of adjacent improvements; site restoration; cleanup; testing; and closeout documentation. Proposals must include a conceptual design, detailed scope and pricing, a work timeline, potential shutdown information, references for similar work, warranty information, court-care and maintenance information, and pricing by line item to permit scope adjustments. Work is to be completed within 120 days after notice to proceed, with weather days and winter shutdown added as applicable. The selected contractor must provide labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, traffic and site controls, testing, and related services. A one-year workmanship and materials guarantee is required. Required contract insurance includes commercial general liability, commercial auto liability, and employer liability coverage with stated $3,000,000 limits; a 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond are also required.
