Description
Wallace Stegner Academy is soliciting proposals for design-build construction services to remodel the black box theater on the second floor of its Kearns high school campus. The project will create five classrooms, two storage areas, and two student restrooms, with materials and finishes matching the existing building. The scope includes design, demolition, architectural construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and life safety, electrical and data systems, permitting, inspections, commissioning, and closeout. Offerors must provide experience and qualifications, a Utah contractor’s license, past performance or at least three similar-project references, a management plan addressing schedule and safety, and a separately submitted pricing proposal. Proposals must include separate PDF files for cost and non-cost information, and the required Bidder Cost Sheet must be included with the cost proposal. Construction must be completed no later than August 1, 2027; the final guaranteed maximum price will be established after final plans and designs are completed.
