Description
Granite School District is soliciting bids from a licensed Utah General Contractor (B100) to remodel the softball dugouts at Hunter High School. The work includes demolition of existing benches, chain-link fencing, and posts; excavation and installation of concrete slab extensions and footings; new metal stud walls, sheathing, exterior brick veneer, flashing, sealants, and painted LP SmartSide panels; installation of benches, cubbies, bat holders, storage racks, and a swinging gate; electrical relocation; and restoration of landscaping and any damaged irrigation systems. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, construction debris disposal, coordination, and supervision required for a complete project. The bid must include the GSD Project Bid Form, a bid bond when the bid is $50,000 or more, a project experience list documenting at least five comparable completed projects, and a subcontractor list for subcontractors valued at $5,000 or more. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site tour are required. The successful contractor must provide a full-time on-site superintendent during construction, obtain required background checks for the superintendent and project manager, and provide performance and payment bonds after award. The project is scheduled to mobilize on November 30, 2026, with substantial completion required by February 19, 2027.
