Description
The Town of Hampton is soliciting sealed bids from federally or state-licensed solid waste management facilities to transport, receive, process, recycle, and dispose of construction and demolition debris generated by residential and small commercial sources. The awarded provider must accept mixed wood, excluding sheetrock, shingles, metal framing materials, and pressure-treated wood, and must have sufficient capacity and equipment to landfill, incinerate, or recycle the material in accordance with applicable permits, EPA requirements, OSHA guidelines, and other laws. The scope includes supplying at least one 100-cubic-yard trailer, with an option to price a second trailer; hauling and returning the trailer between the Town's transfer station and the provider's facility; providing replacement trailers, labor, tractors, and emergency hauling capacity; and pricing disposal on a per-ton basis and transportation on a per-pull basis. The disposal facility must be located in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts. Bidders must submit a summary of qualifications, three comparable-service references, licenses for all receiving and processing facilities, and the completed bid proposal materials. The contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, subject to appropriation.
