The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority is soliciting proposals for station and facility janitorial cleaning services, including track trash removal. The scope includes cleaning tasks for MBTA stations and facilities, sustainable cleaning supplies and equipment, cleanliness standards, reporting and documentation, personal protective equipment requirements, and compliance with the MBTA drug and alcohol policy and prevailing-wage requirements. The solicitation includes technical and price proposal worksheets, station and facility information, cleanliness scoring standards, sustainable-supply requirements, reporting requirements, PPE requirements, minimum insurance requirements, and related addenda and question-and-answer materials. A virtual pre-bid conference was scheduled for August 4, 2026, at 9:00 AM.
