Description
MassDevelopment is conducting a voluntary Request for Information to identify qualified technical assistance providers interested in supporting a five-year pilot Surety Bond Assistance Program. The program is intended to help economically and socially disadvantaged businesses participate in, bid on, and secure capital-project contracts across Massachusetts. Potential services include bond-readiness assessments, financial statement preparation, accounting-system setup, credit repair or improvement, working-capital planning, bid preparation, and contract management. Respondents are asked to describe their organization, relevant experience, anticipated technical-assistance products and fee structure, contractor intake and screening processes, referral timing, geographic reach, staffing, and estimated service capacity. The RFI does not obligate MassDevelopment to award a contract or issue a subsequent solicitation.
