Description
The Colorado Department of Transportation is seeking one consultant to provide construction management, construction inspection, and materials testing engineering services for the SH 82 and US 24 Roundabout project. The scope includes project engineering, office engineering, inspection of roadway, drainage, paving, lighting, traffic control, and related construction activities; materials sampling and testing; quantity tracking; project diaries; progress reports; certified-payroll review; schedule review; contract modifications; weekly meetings; as-constructed drawings; final pay estimates; and post-construction documentation. The consultant must provide a Project Engineer, Inspector, Tester, and Engineer in Responsible Charge, with staffing adjusted as project needs change. Personnel must meet specified CDOT experience, certification, licensing, software, and training requirements, including a Colorado-licensed professional engineer for the EIRC, TECS certification, applicable materials-testing certifications, and experience with CDOT systems. The prime consultant must self-perform at least 30% of the work, and all team members must have a valid CDOT Master Pricing Agreement before contract award and execution. The estimated contract value is $1,100,000, with work anticipated primarily during the 2027 construction season and potentially continuing into 2028 for punch-list and closeout activities.
