Description
Brook Forest Water District is soliciting sealed bids for the installation of standby power systems at four existing water facilities: Well No. 4 Pump House, Tank 5 Vault Pump Station, Well No. 6 Pump House, and Well No. 5 Vault Pump Station. The work includes furnishing and installing new generators, automatic transfer switches, and associated electrical improvements, along with all labor, materials, equipment, testing, commissioning, and phased construction required to provide complete operational systems. Bidders must submit qualification information, including financial data, previous experience, and authority to conduct business in the project jurisdiction. A bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, bidder's bond, or certified check payable to Brook Forest Water District for at least 5% of the bid amount, including alternates, with a certified power of attorney. A preferred pre-bid meeting and site visit are scheduled, and the selected contractor must visit the site and verify the scope before final contract approval.
