Description
Auraria Higher Education Center is soliciting bids from qualified concrete restoration or structural repair contractors for structural repairs and waterproofing at the 7th Street Parking Garage. The work includes shoring and bracing; removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete and reinforcing steel; repairs to beams, double-tee connections, spandrels, rail-support posts, slabs, ramps, and expansion joints; supplemental steel and reinforcement; galvanic anodes; sealants; traffic coatings; silane sealer; and related construction, testing, coordination, and warranty-period services. The garage must remain operational during construction, with work phased so no more than one-half of a parking level is closed at a time. The solicitation includes an additive alternate for Level 4 sealant and coating work, including removal and replacement of traffic coating and horizontal and cove joint sealants, installation of heavy-duty traffic coating and 100-percent-solids silane sealer, and restriping. Bidders must provide the required bid form, bid alternates, bid bond and power of attorney, and minimum-qualification documentation, including relevant project experience, references, project profiles, concrete-repair experience, ICRI Concrete Surface Repair Technician and AWS structural-welding certifications, and a surety letter demonstrating bonding capacity up to $2,021,000.00.
