Description
Union County is soliciting proposals from developers, nonprofit organizations, and HOME-ARP sponsors to provide affordable housing and social services for residents who meet HOME-ARP qualifying-population criteria. Eligible activities include affordable housing development and support, tenant-based rental assistance, supportive services, and acquisition and development of non-congregate shelter units. Approximately $1,300,000 is available through the HOME-ARP Program. Proposals must include one original paper copy, six paper copies, and one electronic copy of the Application Package in Word and Excel format, with required scanned attachments on a USB drive. Proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled, and relocation-related projects require additional notices and relocation-plan documentation. The solicitation is conducted through a fair and open process and is subject to applicable HOME-ARP, HUD, environmental-review, relocation, and New Jersey requirements.
