Description
The City University of New York seeks a commercial off-the-shelf, web-based library services platform for more than 250,000 students, faculty, and staff across 26 campuses. Required capabilities include content management, virtual reference and ticketing, event and room scheduling, appointment services, e-reserves, forms and surveys, consortium-level reporting, accessibility compliance, security and privacy controls, and integrations with CUNY Login, Brightspace, Ex Libris Alma/Primo VE, and other enterprise systems. The proposed product must be generally available and already in production use at higher-education institutions; functionality that must be newly developed for CUNY is not acceptable. The scope includes configuration, implementation, technical integration, optional data migration from the existing Springshare suite, data validation, training, ongoing support and maintenance, and a dedicated customer success manager. Vendors must submit separate proposal volumes for required forms, technical and management information, and pricing. The contract term is five years, with one anticipated award, and includes a 30% MWBE participation goal and a 6% SDVOB participation goal; proposers must submit the required supplier-diversity utilization plan or waiver documentation with their proposals.
