Description
The City of New York Department of Social Services/Human Resources Administration Adult Protective Services Program seeks four qualified social service organizations, one per award, to provide citywide protective services for adults age 18 and older who are unable to meet essential needs, require protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation, or hazardous conditions, and lack someone able and willing to assist them. Services include presumptive and comprehensive assessments, investigations and home visits, eligibility determinations, service-plan development, case management, referrals, benefits and entitlement assistance, advocacy, housing stabilization, financial management referrals, mandated reporting, and coordination of community interventions. Each award covers a three-year contract term from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with one option to renew for up to three additional years. Four citywide awards will support annual caseloads of approximately 500 to 505 clients each. The anticipated total funding is $32,770,035 over the initial three-year term, with line-item reimbursement. Proposers must demonstrate relevant experience, staffing and organizational capacity, monitoring and reporting capabilities, and budget-management expertise. Responses must include the required cover sheet, key staff resumes or job descriptions, organizational chart, completed budget proposal, nonprofit-status documentation, linkage agreements, three non-government reference letters, staffing plan, and budget narrative, and must be submitted through PASSPort by acknowledging the RFx and completing the Manage Responses submission.
