Description
The Joint Meeting of Essex and Union Counties is soliciting qualification statements from qualified persons or firms to provide special conflict counsel services. The scope includes representation in matters involving conflicts or specialized expertise, attendance at regular, special, emergency, and other meetings as required, and preparation of legal opinions, legal memoranda, and monthly counsel reports upon request. Respondents must demonstrate professional, administrative, and financial capability; relevant experience and references; key employee resumes; understanding of the Joint Meeting’s needs; applicable federal and state licenses; New Jersey business registration; ownership and organizational information; affirmative-action compliance; and required statutory certifications. The response must include an executive summary limited to two pages, an executed Letter of Qualification, an executed Letter of Intent, and the other information and forms identified in the RFQ. Qualification statements must be submitted electronically through the designated procurement portal; email, fax, and postal submissions are not accepted.
