Description
The New York City Housing Authority is soliciting indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity repair services for wooden and steel gravity roof tanks at various NYCHA buildings throughout the Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, and Richmond boroughs. The scope includes repairing leaks, cracks, and other damage to tank components such as conical covers, flat decking, hatch doors, ladders, plugs, strainers, piping, plumbing components, valves, electrical systems, probes, control wiring, and conduit. All materials, equipment, and workmanship must comply with applicable city, state, and federal codes, regulations, and industry standards governing construction, safety, and domestic water systems. The contract term is three years from the award date on NYCHA's purchase order, with up to two one-year renewal options at NYCHA's discretion. Bidders must provide bid security equal to 100% of the $50,000 contract minimum and payment and performance bonds each equal to 100% of the $50,000 minimum. The bidder and each subcontractor must be registered under New York Labor Law Section 220-i. A Section 3 Resident Economic Opportunity Plan must be submitted separately through eComply, while the bid itself must be submitted electronically through iSupplier; paper bids will not be accepted. The solicitation is not subject to a project labor agreement and does not require prequalification.
