Description
Union County is soliciting proposals from developers, nonprofit organizations, and HOME-ARP sponsors to provide activities benefiting qualifying populations under the American Rescue Plan. Eligible activities include development and support of affordable housing, tenant-based rental assistance, supportive services, and acquisition and development of non-congregate shelter units. Approximately $1,300,000 is available through the HOME-ARP Program. Proposals must include the information required by the application package. If a project involves relocation, the proposer must provide a one-page relocation-plan summary and submit General Information Notices with certified-mail proof of delivery and receipt, subject to the stated unit-count conditions. Proposals must be submitted as one original, six paper copies, and one electronic copy of the application package in Word and Excel format, with required scanned attachments on a USB drive.
