Description
The Affordable Housing Commission of the City of St. Louis is making approximately $5,729,591 available through its Affordable Housing Trust Fund for nonprofit agencies and developers. Funding may support service-related grants; loans and other subsidies for rental housing production; and loans and other subsidies for for-sale housing developments. Projects must benefit households at or below 80% of area median income, with 40% of fund resources directed to households at or below 20% of area median income. Priority areas include permanent supportive housing, homelessness prevention, affordable housing near public transportation, green building and energy-efficiency improvements, larger affordable units, and projects advancing the City's Sustainability Plan. Rehabilitation projects must meet the City's Lead Safe requirements, while new construction must follow a national green building standard and the Commission's Universal Design requirements. Separate application forms are available for each funding type. Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on October 23, 2026.
