Description
Henry County is soliciting a licensed plumbing contractor to provide comprehensive services at various County-owned and operated facilities, including administrative buildings, courthouses, detention and law-enforcement facilities, parks, senior centers, maintenance facilities, fueling stations, athletic facilities, restrooms, concession areas, and other properties. The scope includes troubleshooting, inspection, maintenance, repair, replacement, and installation of plumbing fixtures, water heaters, pumps, boilers, backflow assemblies, piping, water and sewer systems, storm drainage, natural-gas piping, irrigation systems, and related controls. It also includes leak detection, stoppage clearing, excavation and restoration, winterization, and de-winterization. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, travel, and related services; employ a properly licensed Master Plumber; maintain 24/7/365 service availability; respond to non-emergency requests within 48 hours and emergencies within one hour; and provide estimates for requested work. The initial contract term is one year from execution, with two additional one-year renewal periods. Proposals must include technical qualifications, key personnel, comparable projects, references, approach and schedule, required forms, and a separate cost proposal.
