Description
Fort Bend Independent School District is seeking proposals under two independent categories: Category A for commercial and institutional plumbing parts, fixtures, equipment, repair components, consumable supplies, and delivery; and Category B for districtwide plumbing maintenance, diagnostics, testing, repair, replacement, drain clearing, backflow services, water-heater and pump work, and emergency response. Offerors may propose for either category or both. Category A excludes labor and installation, while Category B covers authorized labor, equipment, permits, inspections, and incidental materials for existing systems and excludes new construction, major renovations, utility extensions, and capital improvements. The solicitation requires a narrative of proposed services, category-specific pricing schedules, supplemental catalog pricing, project and reference information, and specified certifications and forms. Proposers must provide at least five client references from the past five years and information on three similar completed projects from the past five years. The initial contract term is three years, with up to two additional one-year renewal terms. Subcontractors require prior written approval, and awarded contractors must maintain applicable licenses, including a current Texas Responsible Master Plumber designation, as well as required insurance and other qualifications.
