Description
The City of Redding seeks a qualified contractor to provide as-needed commercial plumbing services at approximately 55 City-owned facilities. The scope includes repair and replacement of plumbing fixtures; water, gas, air, and sewer piping, including underground piping; septic systems and seepage pits; valves and related piping; and work in confined spaces. Services may include emergency, after-hours, weekend, and holiday response, with required response to facilities within 48 hours unless otherwise directed. The contractor must provide labor, tools, equipment, materials, a properly equipped service truck, qualified and adequately staffed personnel, and confined-space-certified employees. A California C-36 plumbing license or applicable license, California Department of Industrial Relations registration, prevailing-wage compliance, a City of Redding business license, insurance, and at least five similar plumbing-maintenance references from the previous three years are required. The submission must include the City's quotation form, fee schedule, reference form, equipment list, contractor responsibilities, subcontractors form, an incident and injury prevention plan on one USB drive, applicable bid bond, W-9, and City business license.
