Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for weekly protective clothing and operational supply rental services at its Westminster Area Office. The scope includes furnishing, laundering, sanitizing, repairing, replacing, picking up, and delivering shop clothing and supplies, including padded jackets, mechanic coats, short- and long-sleeve uniform shirts, trousers, scraper and cushioned mats, slip-resistant mats, automotive shop rags, terry-cloth towels, and collapsible dust mops. The contractor must provide initial uniform setup, employee measurements, alterations, name tags, CHP logos, resizing services, containers for soiled items, weekly service, quarterly inventory inspections, and replacement of items damaged through normal wear and tear. The agreement is anticipated to run from November 1, 2026, or approval of the agreement, whichever is later, through November 30, 2029, subject to approval, funding, and possible extensions. Bidders must provide one signed bid package with the required forms, certifications, client references, and applicable business-license or corporate-status documentation. Award is intended for the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The DVBE participation requirement is waived, although eligible DVBE participation may receive an incentive.
