Description
The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Division of Parks and Recreation, is seeking design services for maintenance-area improvements at Carolina Beach State Park and Fort Fisher State Recreation Area. The project will incorporate additional storage areas, a new maintenance office building, two equipment-storage buildings, two above-ground fuel tanks, and a planned driveway-access route to protect equipment at both locations. The total project budget is $3,145,000, with $400,000 available for planning and design. Proposing firms must be properly licensed to practice architecture, engineering, or landscape architecture in North Carolina. Selection criteria include relevant expertise, past performance, staffing and consultant-team qualifications, workload, design approach, experience with project costs and schedules, construction-administration capabilities, proximity to and familiarity with the project area, and successful completion of comparable projects. Responses must include a Letter of Interest and the current SF-254 form.
