Description
Wake County intends to establish a qualifications pool of two to three firms for on-call security design and consulting services. The scope includes security design for new construction and renovation projects, standalone security assessments, and related consulting assignments. Individual projects will be assigned at the County’s discretion based on factors such as project scope, specific experience and qualifications, and firm availability; there is no guaranteed minimum volume or maximum aggregate contract value. Selected firms will negotiate amendments for individual projects defining scope, schedule, deliverables, and fees. Respondents must submit an approach narrative, staff resumes, workload information, litigation disclosure, hourly billing-rate schedule, and any applicable unit-cost information. The proposal has a 25-page double-sided limit, or 50-page single-sided limit, excluding covers, cover letter, table of contents, and tabs; workload charts and hourly rate schedules may also be excluded. Insurance requirements include statutory workers’ compensation coverage, employers’ liability of $500,000, commercial general liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, commercial automobile liability of $1,000,000 combined single limit, and professional liability of $1,000,000 per claim and $2,000,000 aggregate.
