Description
The Canada Border Services Agency requires a contractor to provide intrusion alarm monitoring and maintenance services for the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility. The scope includes taking over and testing the existing alarm system, configuring and programming the security panel and monitoring station, verifying alarm points and signaling, providing written test-result reports, and performing maintenance on an as-needed basis. The contractor must provide 24/7 monitoring through an off-site central monitoring station, backup-system failure detection, approved alarm-response procedures, access-controlled system operations, log retention for at least two years, and open/close logs upon request. On-site presence is required for system configuration and testing, and may be required for maintenance. A Reliability Status security clearance and escorted access during installation are required. The RFQ is restricted to suppliers that responded to ACAN PR233477 and attended the pre-solicitation site visit; the notice identifies Rose Security Services Inc. and Convergint Technologies as invited suppliers.
