Description
Seminole State College of Florida is soliciting a complete turnkey replacement and upgrade of fire alarm systems across designated college facilities. The scope includes engineering and sealed design drawings; permits; demolition and disposal; Edwards EST4 intelligent addressable fire alarm and emergency voice evacuation equipment; fire alarm control panels, initiating and notification devices, speaker/strobes, wiring, conduit, power supplies, batteries, network modules, software, programming, and FireWorks monitoring-platform integration. The contractor must perform testing, commissioning, AHJ coordination, training, repairs and restoration, closeout documentation, as-built drawings, programming backups, O&M manuals, warranties, and electronic asset inventory and barcode implementation. The awardee must be an authorized Edwards/EST dealer with current EST4 and FireWorks certifications. The project also includes a comprehensive one-year inspection, testing, maintenance, and service agreement beginning upon final acceptance, with pricing requested for one additional one-year renewal period. Substantial and final completion are required within six months of the Notice to Proceed.
