Description
The County of Maui is soliciting bids to safely remove and replace the existing Notifier AFP-200 fire alarm control panel and upgrade the electronic fire alarm monitoring system at the Maui Police Department's Wailuku Station. The work includes installing a new fire alarm system control panel and extending monitoring to fire pull handles, sprinkler flow and tamper switches, elevator emergency interfaces, clean-agent systems, HVAC shutdown, and any additional emergency systems required by code. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, installation, testing, debris removal, site protection, restoration of disturbed areas, code-compliant work, and final cleanup. The proposal must include a work approach and scope, a completed proposal form, bid security, subcontractor information, bid breakdown, and addendum acknowledgment. The project has a stated completion duration of 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Selected contractor personnel and subcontractors must pass criminal background checks before accessing the police facility.
