The California Military Department is soliciting a contractor to provide complete fire alarm monitoring services for a 36-month period. The scope includes continuous 24/7/365 monitoring; cellular communicator furnishing, installation, activation, programming, testing, and maintenance; preventive maintenance; quarterly, semi-annual, and annual inspections, testing, and certification; initial battery replacement; emergency response; deficiency reporting; documentation; and authorized corrective repairs. Services will be performed at six California Military Department facilities in Southern California and must comply with applicable California regulations, NFPA 72, NFPA 25 where applicable, manufacturer requirements, and local authority requirements. The contractor must maintain a California CSLB C-10 Electrical Contractor license and applicable BSIS alarm-company licenses and registrations. The prime contractor must self-perform at least 20% of the work. Required deliverables include inspection and testing records, technician reports, event histories, battery reports, deficiency reports, emergency service reports, and annual system inventory updates.
