Description
Wentzville R-IV School District is requesting proposals for the districtwide migration of 25 Edwards EST3 fire alarm systems to EST4. The scope includes surveys, engineering, permits, compatible EST4 panels and components, programming, labeling, replacement of incompatible equipment, preservation and testing of fire and security interfaces, training, and closeout documentation. The contractor must provide and commission two reporting paths at every building: a supervised hardwired IP/VoIP primary path and a supervised cellular secondary path. Work includes building-specific network and cellular surveys, communications diagrams, power and failover planning, monitoring-provider coordination, authority-having-jurisdiction acceptance, 100% device testing unless otherwise approved, 30 consecutive days of stable communications operation, and detailed pricing for the base work, building-level costs, alternates, and communications charges through Years 2–5. Proposals must include technical and migration plans, survey documentation, schedules and impairment/fire-watch plans, qualifications and Edwards authorization, pricing forms, at least three comparable references, and required E-Verify materials.
