Description
Manatee County is requesting qualifications from experienced firms to provide construction management at-risk services for the removal and replacement of the existing chiller system and associated components serving the Manatee County Judicial Center. The scope includes preconstruction services, cost estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, value engineering, permitting, phased demolition and installation, mechanical/electrical/plumbing and controls integration, temporary cooling, lift and rigging operations, commissioning, training, documentation, and closeout. The selected firm must maintain building cooling and uninterrupted courthouse operations, coordinate work around court activities and blackout periods, and provide a minimum 10-year manufacturer-backed warranty for the new chiller equipment. Responses will be evaluated based on team experience, project approach, organizational structure and capacity, and similar completed projects. Proposers must provide the required qualification information, proposal forms, licenses and certifications, references, safety and risk-management information, staffing and organizational details, project examples, and bonding-capacity information.
