Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking information from capable contractors for dockside repairs of USCGC CROCODILE (WPB-87369). The work includes hull plating inspection and preservation, ultrasonic testing and thickness measurements, tank cleaning and inspection, deck preservation, main diesel engine W-5 maintenance and control-system updates, engine and reduction-gear realignment, propulsion shaft and bearing renewal, propeller and rudder work, seawater-system maintenance, drydocking, temporary cutter services, and sea-trial support. Additional work includes renewing seawater piping and valves, insulation, deck coverings, cathodic protection, the intrusion detection system, fathometer and speed-log components, performing structural analysis with a 3D laser scan, and other listed vessel repairs. The anticipated period of performance is 63 calendar days, from April 20, 2027, through June 22, 2027, subject to change. This is a sources-sought market research notice, not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. Respondents must describe their capability and intent to submit as a prime contractor, provide company and business-size information, applicable certification documentation, and relevant past-performance information.
