Description
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is soliciting a contractor to replace the fire alarm system serving a 140,000-square-foot campus containing four buildings. The replacement system must be non-proprietary, and all installation work must comply with the agency’s plans, specifications, contract documents, permits, and applicable Florida construction requirements. The project requires a certified electrical, certified mechanical, or fire alarm-certified contractor. Bidders must submit the supplied bid and qualification materials, including subcontractor information, references, experience and financial information, applicable licensing or registration documentation, and a bid guarantee when the bid meets the stated threshold. The estimated project budget is $1,406,617. A mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is required, and the project provides 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed with Construction to Substantial Completion, followed by 90 calendar days to Final Completion.
