Description
Hillsborough County seeks one experienced and qualified contractor for a three-year term contract covering as-needed stormwater infrastructure construction. The scope includes culvert repair and replacement; storm sewer installation; cross drains, side drains, manholes, inlets, outfalls, and end treatments; CIPP lining and pipe-joint cleaning and sealing; bypass pumping; roadway and right-of-way restoration; retention and detention ponds; grading and ditch construction; underdrains, trenches, French drains, channels, and large stormwater structures; and potable, reclaimed-water, and sanitary utility relocations. Work may also include traffic control, dewatering, site restoration, surveys, record drawings, testing, and related incidental construction activities. Work orders will be issued on an as-needed basis and may be performed concurrently at various locations, primarily in northern Hillsborough County but potentially throughout the County. The estimated authorized work is $18,258,390.04, including a $700,000 allowance for non-priced items. The contract term is three years, with no stated option periods, and the County intends to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders must hold an active Florida Certified General Contractor or Registered General Contractor license and demonstrate recent substantially similar experience. The bid requires electronic submission through Euna Procurement, a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid or stated award amount, and specified bid forms and certifications. Performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the awarded contract amount, and insurance are required from the successful bidder after award.
