Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source contract to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. for a full-service support contract covering Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, RGSC, IDENTIFY, ARIA RadOnc, Eclipse, and Velocity GRID systems. The scope includes preventive maintenance, repair services, OEM parts, authorized field service technicians, travel, labor, equipment, tools and materials, telephone and remote diagnostic support, software upgrades, firmware patches, and related technical support. The notice states that Varian Medical Systems, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer, sole authorized software licenser, and provider of maintenance and support.
