Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotations for two patient immobilization devices for radiation therapy, brand name or equal to the CQ Medical Alta SBRT system. The equipment must be an all-in-one, lightweight, highly indexable platform for stereotactic body radiation therapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and multiple anatomical regions, including the head and neck, brain, pelvis, abdomen, lung, thorax, and extremities. Required characteristics include MR safety, CT and treatment-table compatibility, compatibility with a Varian TrueBeam robotic treatment couch and GE Discovery simulation CT scanner, secure attachment to standard clinic couch tops, modular adjustment for patient anatomy, reproducible setup, knee and foot supports, upper-extremity positioning, thoracic and abdominal compression, leg immobilization, and support for Vac-Lok immobilization. The system must not exceed 12 pounds, include a multipurpose baseplate and applicable positioning accessories, and include the manufacturer's warranty and product documentation. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside for a firm-fixed-price contract. If the offeror is not the original equipment manufacturer, an authorized distributor letter must accompany the quotation.
