Description
The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Bayer Healthcare LLC for a replacement Medrad Stellant Flex OCS contrast injection system. The existing injector is at the end of its service life, and the replacement must be provided by the same manufacturer. The system is used with an existing CT scanner to inject x-ray contrast at precisely controlled timing, volume, and rates, communicate with the scanner, initiate scans, and coordinate imaging sequences for advanced dual-layer spectral CT research and clinical applications. This is a Notice of Intent rather than a request for proposal; other responsible sources may submit a capability statement for consideration.
