Description
Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase equivalent Medline patient personal cleaning products and related items through a contract awarded by Vizient. The procurement is authorized under New York State Finance Law Section 163(3)(vi), allowing the hospital to purchase commodities from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. The initial contract term is October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, with four optional one-year renewals contingent on the GPO's renewal or extension. Vendors submitting a quote must provide the required vendor-responsibility, lobbying-law, tax-law, workers' compensation, and disability documentation if selected.
