Description
Lake County, Florida, is soliciting sealed competitive bids for commercial-grade janitorial supplies, including cleaning chemicals, paper products, mops, brooms, brushes, liners, dispensers, disinfectants, and related products. The contract includes core items with both substitute-allowed and no-substitute categories, plus non-core items priced by percentage markup. Products must be new, properly labeled, compatible with standard cleaning practices, and delivered with at least 12 months of remaining shelf life where applicable. Certain disinfectants must be capable of killing specified pathogens, including Clostridium difficile, MRSA, HIV-1, hepatitis B and C, norovirus, H1N1, and COVID-19. The contractor must provide a secure, SSL-certified online ordering, reporting, and payment platform with user accounts, order tracking, product availability, purchasing-card and purchase-order acceptance, and continuous availability. Orders generally must be delivered within two business days, with non-stock items delivered within 14 business days. Pricing must include packaging, handling, shipping, fuel, labor, and inside delivery, with no fuel surcharges or minimum-order fees. The initial contract term is one year, with two optional two-year renewals. The solicitation requires a completed submission form, law-compliance affidavit, pricing sheet, references form, W-9, proof of Sunbiz registration, addenda acknowledgments if applicable, and proof of insurance or insurability.
