Description
Lake County is soliciting qualifications from professional engineering consultants to provide on-call solid waste and environmental engineering services for the County’s Office of Solid Waste under task orders and a continuing contract. The scope includes solid waste facility planning, site layouts, landfill expansion and closure design, permitting, operations support, collection and disposal cost evaluations, master planning, waste composition and volume studies, financial and assessment analyses, air emissions and landfill gas management, leachate and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, groundwater and hydrogeological services, landfill quality control, and related engineering and professional services. Consultants must provide a proposed team, qualifications, approach, financial stability information, litigation information, licenses, references, and required certifications and forms. The County may make multiple awards, and the contract is an open-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed dollar amount or minimum work. Services will be performed through written task orders, with an initial one-year term and two optional two-year renewals.
