Description
Lake County is seeking a licensed auctioneer and Florida motor vehicle dealer to provide comprehensive auction services for County surplus property, including furniture, technology-related items, office equipment and supplies, vehicles, heavy equipment, road maintenance equipment, and miscellaneous items. The contractor must advertise and market items, catalog and organize lots, conduct public auctions, collect payments and sales taxes, complete vehicle title transfers, and remit proceeds with electronic sales reports. The contractor must provide transportation, secure storage, labor, equipment, and supervision; operate an auction facility within 80 miles of the County's Facilities Warehouse; maintain required licenses, permits, and an auctioneer surety or license and permit bond; and have at least five years of documented experience conducting public auctions for Florida governmental entities. The contract is an indefinite-quantity arrangement with no guaranteed usage or dollar value. Responses must include the required submission form, law-compliance affidavit, pricing sheet, references, licenses or permits, proof of Sunbiz registration, W-9, insurance or evidence of insurability, pricing support, proposed solution, financial stability statement, litigation information, auctioneer bond documentation, and sales-report samples.
