Description
Eastern Municipal Water District is soliciting a California Classification A general engineering contractor to construct three pressurized potable water pipeline systems in Menifee, California: the Matthews Pipeline, the Watson Pipeline, and the Romoland Feeder Extension. The work includes connections to existing pipelines, crossings of the Metrolink and SR-74/Caltrans rights-of-way, branches connecting to existing water pipelines, valves, appurtenances, cathodic protection, testing, pavement restoration, and traffic control. This is a lump-sum bid with an estimated value of $18 million to $21 million and a 600-calendar-day project duration. Bidders must be registered California Department of Industrial Relations public works contractors and meet the stated licensing requirements. A mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting is required, and electronic submission includes the Line Items Proposal Package and Bid Bond through the procurement portal.
