Description
The Clayton County Water Authority is soliciting bids from an experienced, licensed utility contractor for replacement of an existing 30-inch gravity-flow sanitary sewer. The project includes approximately 14,453 linear feet of new 30-inch and 36-inch gravity-flow sanitary sewer, multiple reconnections of smaller existing sewers, new manholes, pipe installation and testing, demolition or abandonment of portions of the existing system, and restoration of disturbed areas. Additional work includes erosion and sedimentation controls, NPDES monitoring, excavation, dewatering, flow interruption and bypass pumping, trenchless cased crossing at Thomas Road, traffic control, surveying, vibration monitoring, safety planning, and related construction support. The contract requires completion within 730 calendar days. The opportunity is GEFA-funded and subject to applicable disadvantaged-business, federal labor-standard, and American Iron and Steel requirements. The submission package includes the online bid table and required forms, licenses, GEFA documentation, bid bond, references, affidavits, certifications, and vendor information.
