Description
The City of Lubbock is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for the Reese Waterline Extension, including all labor, materials, and construction work. The estimated construction-phase budget is $4,000,000. Proposals will be evaluated on price, contractor qualifications, and construction time, with respective weights of 60, 30, and 10 points. The project must be substantially completed within 365 consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. The contractor must comply with Texas prevailing-wage requirements, provide required insurance, maintain a local representative during performance, and furnish a 5% proposal security. The successful contractor must provide a 100% performance bond if the contract exceeds $100,000 and a 100% payment bond if it exceeds $50,000. The solicitation also requires submission of qualifications, safety information, subcontractor information, and other specified proposal forms and responses.
