Description
The City of La Vergne is soliciting bids for the removal and replacement of the existing metal roofing systems at the La Vergne Senior Center, including the main building and adjacent covered area. The work includes removal and lawful disposal of existing roofing, insulation, gutters, and downspouts; installation of new 26-gauge metal roofing panels; installation of four-inch insulation on the main building and two-inch vapor-barrier insulation on the covered area; and installation of appropriately sized gutters, downspouts, flashing, trim, closures, fasteners, sealants, and related accessories. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, permits, site protection, cleanup, and weather protection necessary for a complete, watertight installation. Bidders must identify the proposed roofing manufacturer and product, panel profile and finish, insulation materials, warranty information, estimated project duration, material lead time, and any exceptions. The bid packet requires completed and signed bid forms, contract documents, and affidavits, including drug-free workplace, Title VI compliance, non-collusion, and indemnification documents. The awarded contractor must maintain specified workers’ compensation, public liability, and property damage insurance and complete delivery and installation within the stated requirements.
