Parks Canada Agency is soliciting construction services to remove existing wood-shingle roofing and install a new steel roofing system on three Brackley Beach Complex buildings in Prince Edward Island National Park. The work includes substrate inspection and authorized decking replacement, synthetic underlayment, standing-seam or hidden-fastener steel roofing, drip edges, membrane protection, prefinished flashings, ridge ventilation, replacement pipe boots, and temporary removal and reinstallation of roof accessories. Unit-price work includes replacement of five-inch K-style aluminum gutters, three-by-four-inch downspouts, and bolt-on snow guards. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, site protection, weatherproofing, cleanup, product data and samples, a project-specific health and safety plan, progress photography, and record drawings. The estimated project value is between CAD 100,001 and CAD 250,000, taxes extra. Bids are evaluated using a two-submission procedure, with an Indigenous Participation Plan weighted at 10% and price at 90%.
