Description
The City of Bangor is soliciting proposals for a go-over roofing renovation at Bangor International Airport's Dock 11 and Dock 13. The work includes establishing an OSHA-compliant work site and Foreign Object Debris protection for aircraft on the flightline; inspecting the existing deck and replacing rotten sections; installing expanded polystyrene insulation, mechanically attached 5/8-inch densedeck roof board, and a 0.060-inch adhered EPDM membrane; flashing roof penetrations and the roof perimeter; extending the membrane at vertical roof transitions; installing pressure-treated cant as needed; and performing daily cleanup and waste removal. The contractor must complete the work by June 30, 2027, arrange manufacturer inspection, and provide a minimum 20-year watertight warranty. The lower-level, approximately 5,000-square-foot southwesterly portion attached to Dock 11 is excluded. Proposers must submit the provided Bid Form, provide at least three project references, and maintain the specified insurance coverage. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site evaluation is required for proposal eligibility.
